Current State of The Problem Treatment of Mirizzi Syndrome (Literature Review)

Author: SALIM DAVLATOV, KOSIM RAKHMANOV, NIZOM QURBONOV, IRODA VAFAYEVA, DIYOR ABDURAXMANOV
Abstract: The manuscript describes in detail the etiology and incidence of Mirizzi syndrome, the classification of the syndrome, the clinical course and diagnosis of this disease, modern methods of treatment of Mirizzi syndrome, in particular endoscopic methods of treatment. Further development of algorithms for diagnostic and therapeutic measures in identifying Mirizzi syndrome will allow avoiding a large number of injuries of the bile ducts and other vital anatomical structures, reducing the frequency of switching to laparotomy in complicated forms of cholecystitis and eliminating complications associated with impaired bile outflow. Thus, Mirizzi syndrome is a complication of gallstone disease, in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of which there are a number of unresolved issues related to both the determination of the optimal diagnostic and treatment tactics and the use of alternative methods of treatment.
Keyword: Mirizzi syndrome, complication of gallstone disease, trauma to the bile ducts, endoscopic methods of treatment.
