To expose the knowledge about the Whole slide imaging (WSI). WSI or “virtual” microscopy is the process of scanning the microscope glass slides to produce a single high resolution digital image of the slide. WSI is done by picturing many high resolution images of slices of microscope glass slide and then collaging them into a single image. Whole slide imaging (WSI), or “virtual” microscopy is the process of scanning the microscope glass slides to produce a single high resolution digital image of the slide. This is a Review study setting, evaluating the use of WSI Technique in pathology. Data for the study were collected from search engines like PUBMED, GOOGLE SCHOLAR, MeSH, Cochrane, Semantic scholar. A Total number of 50 articles were searched. A Total number of 32 articles were selected. A number of articles with known concepts are 7, A Total number of 8 articles with recent updates. From this we can conclude that the data obtained from the present study may be useful for practitioners to make high quality slide images and for easy and accurate diagnosis. This research will also be helpful To get more knowledge about Whole slide imaging and To utilise the advantages of whole slide imaging.
