Author: NGOUBINAH PRETTY.TM, DR. LAVANYA PRATHAP, HANNAH. R, PREETHA S
Abstract: There is a widespread acknowledgement that nonmedical use of perception opioids is a significant problem in the world. Nonmedical use of these pharmaceutical drugs has increased markedly over the last decade. This review examines the current literature focused on legalization of illegal drugs on drug traffic, potential solutions, and preventive measures. The articles were collected from PubMed Database and includes peer-reviewed articles. This is a detailed review study. The total number of articles collected was 15 and the population is above 50 year of age, students, drug users, and non-drug users, society, youth, college students. Drug trafficking, potential solution and Preventive measures, are used as outcome variables for analysis. The collected reviews are tabulated and results are reported. This review is done to understand drug trafficking, its potential solution and preventive measures and can be concluded that the drug misuse by world criminals inflicts the judiciary and health care system. Treatment and prevention of drug abuse may be followed by medical practice for millennia by improving the quality, following safety control measures and non-violent positioning of drugs. Governmental drugs regulation and culture plays a major role in this regard. The addiction towards drugs, alters brain development, poor education outcome, cognitive impairment, diminishing satisfaction and achievement and leads to increase in risk of chronic psychotic disorder. Legalization of illegal drugs is not answered till now it can be concluded that only medically approved drugs should be legalized.
