Domestic violence is commonly defined broadly to include all the acts of physical, sexual, psychological and economical violences. The prevalence of domestic violence is arguably one of the top health concerns across the country. Main obstacle faced in domestic violence is still victims were unable to realize the differential behaviours. The Aim of this study is to assess the awareness and knowledge among young teenagers towards domestic violence. A Self structured study was conducted among 100 participants of age group between 18-24 years. The questions include both demographic and knowledge related. The questionnaire was designed in the manner to identify the exact opinion of each individual about domestic violence. The survey was conducted on an online basis. The results and findings are represented in pie charts. The statistical software used for this study was SPSS software. In our study, around 94% of individuals felt mothers have equal importance in decision making. 92% of participants believe that educated individuals are also involved in domestic violence nowadays. Awareness of the prevalence of domestic violence among the young generation was found to be moderate. But even more awareness needs to be educated to both women and young adults. The knowledge about domestic violence is mandatory for every individual. That can prevent the number of victims and abusers.
