Synthesis and properties of polyetheretherketones

Abstract: Low-temperature polycondensation synthesized and investigated the properties of polyether ether ketones (PEEK) based on hydroxyl-containing oligoketones of various degrees of condensation and phthalic acid chlorides. It has been shown that they have good solubility in chlorinated organic solvents and are characterized by high thermal and mechanical properties. The dependence of the main operational characteristics of polyetheretherketones on the degree of condensation of the initial oligoketones has been established.
