Cognitive dysfunction in children with pain syndrome during the neonatal period

Abstract: According to the literature data, in modern neonatology, the question of the prevention and treatment of pain is raised. Under the concept of pain in neonatology, not only heavy intensive procedures (resuscitation) take place, but also the usual standard methods; meconium cleaning, vaccination, swaddling, etc. The paper shows the effect of pain during the neonatal period on cognition.
