Knowledge, Attitude And Awareness Of Left And Right Brain Thinkers Among College Students- A Survey

Abstract: The right and left hemisphere of the brain have different functions in the process of different approaches. Left brained people tend to be more strong in memorisation logical thinking and right brained people tend to be more creative. The main aim of the survey is to analyse and study the knowledge attitude and awareness of the left and right brain thinkers among college students. A questionnaire was prepared and administered 100 participants through Google forms - an online survey platform. The study population included college students of age groups from 18-20, 20-25 as well as 25 and above. The results were collected and data was analysed using SPSS software. From the study population, among 100% of the participants, predominantly were aware of the left brain and right brain thinkers. Although, the majority of the participants were not aware of the differences between the functions of the right brain and left brain which helps in various activities in our daily life. Left brain and Right brain plays an important part in the thinking process.The right knowledge about the similarities and differences of the right and left brain among the students helps in the amendment and can create a hike in the understanding process and progress in their career.This survey helped in creating awareness about Left and Right brain thinkers among the college students.
