Pandemic diseases are a great threat for the economy of a country. The growth of a country is based on economic development. When there is a sudden outburst of pandemic disease, the country will be suffering from the economic slowdown. Economic slowdown leads to low per capita income, low GDP, higher population below the poverty line and poor infrastructure of a country. Self administered questionnaires were designed based on knowledge, attitude and practice. The questions were distributed through an online platform. The study population included people belonging to the age group of 18 to 24 years. The data were collected and statistically analyzed using SPSS software. Results were collected as ordinal data reported that more than half of the participants were aware that sudden outburst of pandemic disease leads to economic decline of a country and they were also aware that each and every individual is responsible for the economy of a country. More than half of the participants are aware of economic crisis management techniques. There are more pandemic diseases which are a threat to our country and it may affect us in several ways one of those is an economic slowdown. Economic slowdown not only decreases the country's wealth, it may lead to it may lead the majority of the population to live under the poverty line and it leads to economic recession. It is necessary for every individual to be aware about economic crisis management techniques.
