Awareness On The Risk Factors And Complications Of Liver Cirrhosis - A Survey Among College Students

Abstract: Cirrhosis , otherwise called a liver cirrhosis or hepatic cirrhosis is the condition where our liver doesn’t work properly because of the long term damage . Cirrhosis can be future classified into 4 stages .The aim of this study is to create awareness on risk factors and complications of liver cirrhosis among college students. The Survey on awareness about the risk factor and complications of liver cirrhosis among college students was conducted using google form link . We have distributed our survey among 100 college students . Statistical software SPSS was used to analyse the data. Students were aware of risk factors and complications of liver cirrhosis . They need to educate the society regarding the prevention and delay in progression of liver cancer . Awareness camps , social media , workshops , seminars may be conducted to create awareness on risk factors and complications of liver cirrhosis , fibrosis , necrosis among college students.
