Abstract:

The study focuses on the development of ICT skills among Orang Asli students in Peninsula Malaysia. In the
process of implementing this study, a case study design was implemented. Five Orang Asli students were selected.
The selection is based on the active participation and comprehensive responses given during ICT literacy
programme conducted. Two data collection techniques include interview and document analysis were used in this
study. The findings indicate that, the ICT skills among respondents improves after joining ICT literacy program
which conducted during the study. Other than ICT skills, the study also shown that the motivation level among
respondents towards teaching and learning process is increased. The findings of this study contribute to the
process of planning excitement teaching and learning among Orang Asli students in order to improve their skills of
learning and level of motivation to learn. This process will benefit them to gain meaningful learning which is
essential for their future life and career is.
