The aim of this systematic review is to evaluate whether root proximity influences the clinical success rate of Mini-implants. Objectives of this systematic review are to report the literature evidence on 1. Root proximity as a factor for failure of mini-implants 2. A minimum amount of bone required between the implant and the root to prevent failure.Materials and Methods: Search: A complete search across the following electronic databases. PubMed, Cochrane, Google scholar, LILACS and manual search of orthodontic journals were performed till December 2019 Data Collection and Analysis: studies were selected on the basis of PRISMA Guidelines Results: The studies included only clinical trials both prospective and retrospective studies. Four articles were selected on the basis of the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Conclusion: The present review concludes that there is sufficient evidence to support the role of proximity in the success rate of mini implants.
