All the collected data were compiled together in an excel sheet. These were statistically analysed with help of SPSS software. The results from the present study, For the question ‘have you ever heard of bottle tooth decay?’ 82% answered ‘no’. 61% of the parents answered 6 months as the time or eruption of milk teeth. ‘5-6 years’ was mentioned by 54% of the population for the time of eruption of permanent teeth. More males than females were not aware of ‘bottle tooth decay’ with p value of 0.025 (<0.05).
