The study states that Leukemia Inhibitory plays a very important role in the endometrial implantation process, especially in patients who undergo Assisted Reproduction Technology, where in the receptive endometrium there will be an increase in LIF levels compared to the non-receptive endometrium which is found in infertility patients, in addition to the diendometrium, LIF-R is also found. in blastocyst embryos where this is evidence that there is a close relationship between the blastocyst embryo and the endometrium at the implantation window so that after the embryo implantation process there will be an increase in the expression of LIF and LIF-R.In addition, LIF also plays a role in the development of blastocyst embryos, the relationship between the embryo and the endometrium, in regulating the production of the hormone prostaglandin which regulates the implantation and decidualization process and the occurrence of trophoblast cell invasion processes.
