| Abstract:
|
This study involve synthesis of some new chalcones from 3-Acetyl benzocoumarin as starting material which is reacted with appropriate substituted aldehydes to give the corresponding chalcones, The reaction has been carried out by Claisen-Shmidt condensation in presence of Pipredine as catalysis and Ethanol as a solvent. All Chalcones characterization by FT-IR,13C-NMR, 1H-NMR. Than we studied the anti-cancer activity of some Chalcones.
