Epidemiological study in women infected with Toxoplasma gondii, Rubella virus, and Cytomegalo virus in Al-Najaf Governorate-Iraq.

Abstract:

Toxoplasma gondii, Rubella virus, and Cytomegalo virus are the most microorganisms cause deferent innless worldwide. The main aim of this work is investigation the prevalence of these three infectious agents in Al-najaf City, Iraq. Blood samples were taken from 198 different areas of Najaf Governorate, Iraq for ages from 1 Day to 40 years (males and females) during the period from 2/1/2020 to 30/4/2020. Out of 198 different patients with abortion 153 patients were positive to one or all of following pathogens : Toxoplasma gondii, Rubella virus, and Cytomegalovirus where the most acute incidences (IgG) with 74 infections (48.3%) to (Cytomegalovirus and Rubella virus) infections, followed by 27 infections (17.6%) to (Cytomegalovirus) infections and 25 infections (16.3%) to (Toxoplasma gondii, Rubella virus, and Cytomegalovirus) infections, there were 13 infections (8.49%) to (Toxoplasma gondii and Cytomegalovirus) infections, while the chronic infections (IgM) were belonged to (Toxoplasma gondii ) 11 infections (7.18%) and 3 infections (1.96%) were to (Toxoplasma gondii and Cytomegalovirus) infections.
