An easy, precise, and accurate reversed-phase high-pressure liquid chromatographic has been developed method to the determination of Bromhexine Hydrochloride in its tablets formulation. Chromatographic provisions standardized using a ODS (C18) column (250 mm × 4.6 mm- particle size about 5µm). UV detection at 316nm, the mobile phase consisting ratio of Acetonitrile: buffer (7:3) v/v. Bromhexine Hydrochloride retention time founded at 3.92min. The linearity of the Calibration curve was R2=0.9987 over a concentration range of 40-120 µg/ml. The Suggested method validated under the guideline of ICH and the determination applied successfully on the drug in its formula and given Noticeable accuracy and precision.
