Temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD) is an unusual but depleting condition of the facial skeleton. Dislocation of the TMJ causes either imbalance in the neuromuscular function or structural deficit, which can be acute or chronic. Temporomandibular Dysfunction is a sub diagnostic condition involving myofascial discomfort, an inflammatory temporomandibular joint (TMJ) condition, and disc derangement. The study aims to evaluate the impact of physiotherapy interventions in functional and structural recovery in a patient with temporomandibular dysfunction. A 21-year-old female following a road traffic accident presented with anterior displacement of the disc and the reduced range of motion (ROM) in the bilateral TMJ, confirmed by MRI. The patient’s main concerns were pain and swelling over the face, and painful jaw movements accompanied with a clicking sound. A marked decrease in ROM caused difficulty in eating and talking. Following the physiotherapy, the patient showed an improvement in TMJ functions.
