Cervical spondylosis adversely affects the life quantity for its heavy disease burden. The report on the community based prevalence and associated factors of cervical spondylosis is rare. This study aims to explore its prevalence and related risk factors and knowledge on cervical spondylosis. Based on an online questionnaire which includes the adult male population with the majority of South Indian population. An online questionnaire prepared which includes the demographic details like name, age, occupation, gender. And the questionnaire includes neck pain, chest tightness, symptoms, difficulty in walking / bending, restriction of daily activities, joint pain, neurological complications, urinary incontinence or retention, difficulty in sleep. The aim of this study is to evaluate the prevalence of cervical spondylosis and to provide knowledge among the adult population. Out of 100,In this survey majority of the responders were adult male population. A total of 52% of the adult male given with the questionnaire. The responders were in the age group of 18-22 years. Among the symptoms 38.9% of participants had dizziness, 35.2% had headache,3.7% had nausea and 18.5% had tenderness, joints were affected 29%, 23% often experienced difficulty in concentration. Prevalence of cervical spondylosis was high in the South Indian population. People at 18-21 years were the focus of prevention of cervical spondylosis.
