various parameters including the physical component, mental component, psychological component, psycho-social
component and environmental component. the statistical significance between the person prevailing with urinary
incontinence and with that of the gravid index. It is found to be with strong association with the P value of 0.002
along with the chi square value of 19.860.In this study it has been statistically proved that the increase in the
number of child birth leads to the weakening of the pelvic floor muscles and leads to the causation of the urinary
incontinence. The women with more number of child births were the person who was suffering more with that of
the urinary incontinence. the majority of the population falls under the farmers/ clerical staffs or the shop keepers;
they accounts for 105(32.2%) people and of those 59 (38.8%) reported that they were having the urinary
incontinence. The unemployed comprises 33 (21.7%) of the urinary incontinence prevailing zone next to the
clerical. The association between the prevalence of UI and the occupation came out with the Chi square value of
16.787 and the P value of 0.05 which is not statistically significant. In this classification there were no people falling
in the professionals. the prevalence of urinary incontinence with gender has been shown. And the prevalence of
urinary incontinence was high in males with 78 (51.4%) and in females it is 74 (48.6%) No significant association
was found between gender and urinary incontinence as the P value was more than 0.05. the relationship between
the prevalence of UI and the socio economic classification, and it is clear that most of the people suffering from UI
were from the class IV of socio economic scale which is about 89(58.5%). The people belonging to class II of socio
economic classification has less prevalence of urinary incontinence on their quality of life as only 2(1.3%) have
reported that they had the problem. The relationship between the prevalence of UI and the socio economic class
is not statistically significant as the P value is 0.110.
