Current Perspectives And Advancements In The Management Of Diabetes Micro And Microvascular Complications.

Author: SOURABH KOSEY, SAURABH SHARMA
Abstract: The incidence of diabetes has been one of the leading causes of mortality in the world four times in the past thirty years. Around 1 in 11 individuals currently have diabetes mellitus worldwide and 90% of those have type 2 diabetes. Asia, where China and India are the top epicenters, is the most affected region by this latest T2 DM global epidemic. Popular microvascular disorders are associated with kidney, eye and amputation but the current remedies only limit the progression of the condition. Modified kidney is marked by diminished GFR, which results in a change in heart rates and strokes. In the clinical trials, different treatments are used for diabetic problems but the findings are unsatisfactory. The bulk of T2DM patients are at least one complication, while the main cause of morbidity and mortality is cardiovascular complications. This analysis offers an updated view of the success of T2DM therapy complications.
