Synthesis, anti-microbial and anti-oxidant activity novel triazolo-quinazolines

Author: NILESH KHAIRNAR, MALLESHAPPA NOOLVI, AVINASH PATIL
Abstract: The synthesis of 3-[substituted-2,4 triazolyl]-2-phenithrazoline-4[3H]-one and the biological evaluation of them as anti-microbial and antioxidant agents have been recorded in the present study in an attempt to classify new groups of antifungal agents. In the series synths, antimicrobial potential against numerous bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, was evaluated for aeruginosa-pseudomonas and fungi; candida albicans and aspergillus niger, and chloramphenicol and amphoterin-B. Similarly, antioxidant function was also examined in these compounds with DPPH monitoring. Of the nine synthesized compounds, 7e contained an active compound against gramme positive (S. aureus) and gramme negative bacteria (P. vulgaris). Similarly, 7b (88,23 percent) and 7e (89,23 percent) showed strong anti-oxidant activity as opposed to standard ascorbic acid (94 percent)
