Analysis and Visualisation of Research Trends in Impatiens Necrotic Spot: A General Review

| Abstract:

Impatiens necrotic spot is a viral infection affecting plants, caused by “impatiens necrotic spot virus”. The bibliometric analysis had been conducted to understand the active authors, organizations, journals, and countries involved in the research domain of “Impatiens necrotic spot”. All published articles related to “Impatiens necrotic spot” from “Scopus”, were analyzed using the VOS viewer to develop analysis tables and visualization maps. This article had set the objective to consolidate the scientific literature regarding the “Impatiens necrotic spot” and also to find out the trends related to the same. The most active journals in this research domain were identified as Plant Disease, Journal of Virology, and Phytopathology. The most active countries were the United States of America and Australia. The leading organizations engaged in the research regarding Impatiens necrotic spot were the National Chung Hsing University of Taiwan and Wageningen University & Research of Netherlands.
