Analysis and Visualisation of Research Trends in Fusarium Root Rot: A General Review

Abstract:

Fusarium root rot is a fungal infection caused by several pathogens from “Fusarium” species. The bibliometric analysis had been conducted to understand the active authors, organizations, journals, and countries involved in the research domain of “Fusarium root rot”. All published articles related to “Fusarium root rot” from “Scopus”, were analyzed using the VOS viewer to develop analysis tables and visualization maps. This article had set the objective to consolidate the scientific literature regarding the “Fusarium root rot” and also to find out the trends related to the same. The most active journals in this research domain were identified as are Plant Disease, Phytopathology, Crop Science, and Applied Soil Ecology. The most active countries in this research domain are the United States of America and Israel. The leading organizations engaged in the research regarding Fusarium root rot was the USDA Agricultural Research Service of the USA and The Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food of Canada. The most active authors who had made valuable contributions related to Fusarium root rot disease were Naseri B., Kelly J.D, Chang K.F, and Hwang S.F
