Abstract:

Corynespora leaf spot is a fungal infection caused by the fungal pathogen “Corynespora cassiicola. The bibliometric analysis had been conducted to understand the active authors, organizations, journals, and countries involved in the research domain of “Corynespora leaf spot”. All published articles related to “Corynespora leaf spot” from “Scopus”, were analyzed using the VOS viewer to develop analysis tables and visualization maps. This article had set the objective to consolidate the scientific literature regarding the “Corynespora leaf spot” and also to find out the trends related to the same. The most active journals in this research domain were identified as Pest Management Science, Plant Pathology, and Plant Disease. The leading countries of the research domain are the United States of America, China, and Japan. The leading organizations engaged in the research regarding Corynespora leaf spot was The Federal University of Viçosa of Brazil. The most active authors who had made valuable contributions related to Corynespora leaf spot disease were Barreto R.W. Ishii H. and Liu F.
