Analysis and Visualisation of Research Trends in Botrytis Blight: A General Review

Abstract:

Botrytis blight, also known as gray mold is a fungal infection caused by several species in “Botrytis”. The bibliometric analysis had been conducted to understand the active authors, organizations, journals, and countries involved in the research domain of “Botrytis blight”. All published articles related to “Botrytis blight” from “Scopus”, were analyzed using the VOS viewer to develop analysis tables and visualization maps. This article had set the objective to consolidate the scientific literature regarding the “Botrytis blight” and also to find out the trends related to the same. The most active journals in this research domain were identified as Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America and Plant Disease. The most active country was the United States of America. The leading organizations in this research domain were Agriculture and Agri-Food of Canada and Korea Research Institute Chemical Technology. The most active authors who had made valuable contributions related to Botrytis blight disease were Carisse O. and Choi G.J.
