Analysis and Visualisation of Research Trends in Septoria Leaf Spot

Abstract:

Septoria leaf spot or Septoria blight is a fungal infection caused by the fungus, “septoria lycopersici”. The major symptoms, disease management measures, and challenges are highlighted in this article. This bibliometric analysis had been conducted to understand the active authors, organizations, journals, and countries involved in the research domain of “Septoria leaf spot”. All published articles related to “Septoria leaf spot” from “Scopus”, were analyzed using the VOS viewer to develop analysis tables and visualization maps. This article had set the objective to consolidate the literature regarding the “Septoria leaf spot” and also to find out the trends related to the same. The USA is the country where active research is going on regarding the Septoria leaf spot, followed by South Africa. The top organization focusing on Septoria leaf spot are the Danish Institute of Agriculture Sciences of Denmark, Texas Tech University and State University of Newyork, Rutgers Cooperative Extension County Offices. The most active author who had made valuable contributions related to Septoria leaf spot is Scherm H, Liang H and followed by Allen R.D. Plant Disease and Plant Molecular Biology are the most active journals in this research domain.
