A Hybrid Encryption Algorithm for Secure Data Storage on Cloud

Abstract: Cloud computing is the process that provides essential computing materials over web. All types of resources are available on cloud in the form of metered service. Cloud computing helps an organisation to achieve their business goal with minimal effort as compared to traditional computing environment. It permits putting away the client's information on cloud and offers the support by cloud server. There is an abundant information put away at cloud storage server. Security of the data on cloud is the key concern for the user. It requires a high degree of integrity, authentication and confidentiality. This paper presented hybrid way of providing security to files whether they are exchanging or at rest. Cryptography is the best way to provide security to the data. In this paper, fusion of symmetric Blowfish and asymmetric ElGamal techniques are proposed to secure data.
