Abstract:

Leaf blister is a fungal infection caused by a fungus of the genus “taphrina”. Leaf blisters affect several trees and oak leaf blister, pear leaf blister and grape leaf blisters are common types of leaf blisters. Leaf blisters will not have a fatal impact on tree health. Leaf blisters are plant diseases that can cause heavy economic loss to cultivators. This bibliometric analysis had been conducted to understand the active authors, organizations, journals, and countries involved in the research domain of “leaf blister”. All published articles related to “leaf blister” from “Scopus”, were analyzed using the VOS viewer to develop analysis tables and visualization maps. This article had set the objective to consolidate the literature regarding the “leaf blister” and also to find out the trends related to the same. The most active journals related to this plant disease are Plant Disease, Journal of Chemical Ecology, Molecular Plant Pathology, and Journal of Molecular Biology. The USA is the country where active research is going on regarding leaf blister. The top organizations focusing on the leaf blister are the Biotechnology Department, Tocklai Tea Research Institute of India, and Plant Molecular/Cell Biology Program, of the University Of Florida.
