Cotton root rot disease is also called “Phymatotrichum root rot”, “Texas root rot” and “Ozonium root rot”. Cotton root rot is a fungal disease caused by “Phymatotrichum omnivorum”. This bibliometric analysis had been conducted to understand the active authors, organizations, journals, and countries involved in the research domain of “Cotton root rot”. All published articles related to “Cotton root rot” from “Scopus”, were analyzed using the VOS viewer to develop analysis tables and visualization maps. This article had set the objective to consolidate the literature regarding the “Cotton root rot” and also to find out the trends related to the same. Cotton root rot is an interesting research domain and the most active journals related to this research domain are Plant Disease, Remote Sensing, Journal of Invertebrate Pathology, and Applied and Environmental Microbiology. The USA is the country where active research is going on regarding the Cotton root rot, followed by the Netherlands. The top organization focusing on Cotton root rot is the USDA University of USA.
