Asthma is a disease without a cure, however, it is controllable by proper self-management. The control for asthma incidence in this digital era is carried out with a smartphone app and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was adopted to ensure the acceptance of this app by users. Therefore, this research aims to determine the perceived usefulness and ease of use in the acceptance of asthma education features in the asthma self-management app. This research was explanatory with a quantitative approach and the population consisted of asthmatics. Furthermore, the research inclusion criteria were 19 – 22 years old individuals having a history of asthma and have used the education feature of AsmaDroid app for a month. The purposive sampling was adopted with 100 respondents and the instruments used were the AsmaDroid app and the TAM questionnaire. Also, descriptive statistics was employed with the use of multiple linear regression and SPSS for the test of hypothesis. The results showed that male and female respondents were 52% and 48% of a total of 100, respectively. Also, the perceived ease of use has a positive and significant effect on user acceptance with a significant value of 0.000 (<0.05). It was concluded that the asthma education features in the AsmaDroid app provide benefits and convenience for users, therefore, the feature is accepted as an alternative to learn about asthma self-management.
