Patients today are getting progressively mindful of the advances in esthetic dentistry and the capacity to make and create tooth changes with moderate procedures. Dental ceramic veneers may be indicated when there is fracture, discolouration, diastema, smile reconstruction and enough dental structure in the anterior teeth. A cross sectional survey was conducted during april 2020 and a total of 200 responses were collected from the participants irrespective of the region. The questions were based on etching and bonding protocol for indirect veneers. Out of 200 responses 54 responses were from general practitioners and 146 responses were from specialists. The chi-square test was used to assess the significant effect of each question between specialists and general practitioners. The study was conducted to assess the knowledge about etching and bonding protocol followed for indirect veneers among specialists and general practitioners. Data showed that there is a significant difference in most of the variables.
