Sticky bone is a new concept of fabricating growth factors enriched bone graft matrix along with autologous fibrin glue. This concept has evolved since 2010. Sticky bone is a biologically solidified bone graft that is entrapped in the fibrin network. Sticky bone graft doesn’t scatter even when excessive force is applied. This innovation allows the operator to provide stabilization of the bone graft in the defect, which in turn will help in accelerating tissue healing and thereby minimizing bone loss during the healing period. Sticky bone is known for its ability for minimal migration because of the strong and interlinked structure it possesses. This property of the graft allows minimum migration of the graft during the healing period thereby promoting better healing. Sticky bone is easy to make and they are very effective materials for the reconstruction of various edentulous alveolar bone defects. Predictable ridge and sinus augmentation techniques can be practiced using sticky bone. This graft has abundant clinical implications in the field of Implantology. This article reviews the various studies on sticky bone. Also, we have discussed the method of preparation and its advantages.
