Antenatal care is vital for safe motherhood but it varies widely across the country where the population resides in urban slums & rural areas. Antenatal care is potentially one of the most effective health care involved in preventing maternal mortality, mainly in places where the general health status of women is poor. A self structured - questionnaire survey based on the knowledge, attitude and awareness of Antenatal Exercise among college students, a prospective study (observational) comprising about 100 people (sample size) were asked to take up an online survey platform (link) using Google forms and where asked to take up the survey by the college students. The sampling method involved non - probability convenient sampling. The questionnaire was checked for validity in Saveetha Dental College, Chennai. The results were collected and the data was analysed. The results were collected and the data and statistics were finally analysed, majority of the respondents show a positive perception (aware) regarding the antenatal exercise which is practised by pregnant women during the period of pregnancy. Antenatal exercise is mostly advised to women in order to maintain their body fit that helps them during their pregnancy. To conclude these results suggest that the students' knowledge concerning the practice of antenatal exercise during pregnancy is reasonable and their attitude is favorable; however, relatively few actually knew in detail about the various types of exercises.
