Developmental coordination disorder is marked by the characteristic feature of clumsiness. These children have difficulty in performing and accomplishing the specific activity in relation with time. They have difficulty to cope up with time and that affects their daily routines and academics in children with DCD. Majority of the researchers and therapist who treat children with DCD will not pay attention on time-related difficulties. The aim of the current pilot study is to evaluate how time assistive devices (TAD) help children with DCD as compared to other conventional educational intervention. 10 children with DCD in the 5–10-year age group was included in the study and randomly divided to an intervention and control group. The children’s perception of time was assessed at the baseline with KaTid and the groups received time-skill training and training with Time Assistive Device. Children in the intervention group had little orientation to time as compared to the control group. In conclusion, a multimodal intervention is in need to enhance the time perception among children with DCD.
