In this work a new series of azo-bis 1,3-Oxazepine [C1-C7] have been synthesized via [2+5] cycloaddition reaction of phthalic anhydride with synthesized bisazoimine [B1-B7]. Benzidine was converted to bis azo compound [A1-A7] via coupling its diazonium salt with phenoxide anion of 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde. Aldehyde groups in bis-azoaldehyde derivative [A1-A7] was condensed with 2-hydroxy-4-amino-1,3,5-triazine in presense of glacial acetic acid as a catalyst in absolute ethanol to give bisazoimine derivatives [B1-B6] respectively. The resulting bisazoimine derivatives [B1-B7] were then introduced in [2+5] cycloaddition reaction with phthalic anhydride in dry benzene to give new bisazo bis-1,3-oxazepine-4,7-dione derivatives [C1-C7]. The structure of the synthesized compounds were characterized by spectroscopic methods FTIR, 1HNMR spectra. Estimation the biological activity for the synthesized compounds was carried out using Agar well Diffusion method. Anti-Shistocerca Gregaria activities was applied using compound C1, C2 and C3 compounds as Pesticides were calculated by using Abott’s formula.
