A rapid, simple, precise, &accurate, “UV Spectrophotometric technique” is established utilizing 0.1N sodium hydroxide as solvent for concurrent assessment of Metformin Hydrochloride (MET)and Glimepiride(GMP)in pharmaceutical dosage form. Metformin hydrochloride shows absorption maximum at 231 nm & Glimepiridedis plays absorption maximum at 227 nm. The linearity was detected in concentration extent of 2-10µg/ml for MET& GMP. The precision of technique was defined by executing inter &intra-day survey. The accuracy of technique was recognized by recovery surveys. The investigative technique was authorized for numerous factors as per ICH procedures. The suggested technique was discovering to be easy & might be utilized for routine examination of MET&GMP intablet &bulk dosage forms.
