Abstract: Today in the modern world dentistry recognizes the emotions and psychological essence of the patient concerning dental health care and aesthetic concerns. Teeth play a vital role in the general wellness of an individual. Loss of teeth not only affects the physiological function but also the psychology of the individual. The presence of the teeth plays an important role in maintaining this well being of an individual. In its broadest sense, Prosthodontics is concerned and deals with the diagnosis, treatment plan, and rehabilitation of the tooth structures thereby restoring the oral function, comfort, and appearance of the individual. This study aims to determine the awareness and knowledge of prosthodontic treatments among the general population. An online questionnaire-based survey was conducted among the general public. All the data from the survey was collected and it was analyzed with the help of SPSS software. Our study results conveyed that the participants are aware of various prosthodontics treatments and have sufficient knowledge. Participants were also aware of the necessity to replace a missing tooth. The study population (n=100) of which 56% were males and 44% females. Despite the limitations, our findings provided valuable information about prosthodontics treatments among the public. Our study also showed that knowledge and awareness among the general public are sufficient.
