Malaria is the most dreadful illness and widespread infectious disease because of its prevalence, virulence and drug resistance, having an overwhelming impact on public health in developing regions of the world. A Series of 7-substitued -4-amino cinnoline-3-carboxamide were synthesized from 7-chloro -4-amino cinnoline-3-carboxamide treated with substituted aryl amine under phase transfer catalysis condition and investigating effects of these derivatives on biological activities on bacterial and malarial strains. Synthesized compounds were characterized using FTIR, 1H NMR and mass spectrometry. These compounds showed good anti-bacterial and anti-malarial activity and some compounds shown comparable activity with the standard Ciprofloxacin and Pyremethamine.
