Adsorption and Removal of pharmaceutical Riboflavin (RF) by Rice husks Activated Carbon

Abstract: The perpetual elevated of environmental pollutants led to threat human life, flora and fauna.Removing processesof toxic pollutants by adsorption on Rice husks Activated Carbon (R-AC) has shown immense potential. Present study developed activated carbon fromRice husks,The experiments were implemented to uptake drug by R-AC. The surface structure of Rice husks and Rice husks were activated by H2SO4. various experimental factors included temperature initial drug concentration ,adsorbent dosage, and pH of drug solution were estimated. Results show that yield of removal was lowering with elevated in pH (3-10) while increases of drug on R-AC. Freundlich and Langmuir isotherm models used to detected adsorption equilibrium itsfinding thatthere was agreement in correlation coefficient value of drug .
