Relationship between ABO blood groups and hematological and biochemical in dices in blood transfusion thalassemia major in AL-Muthanna province-Iraq.

Abstract: This study considered the first about blood transfusion in thalassemia major in AL-Muthanna.The aim of the studywas estimated influence ABO groupon thehematologicaland biochemical indicesin thalassemia patient,collection the samples between March2016 to September 2017. Seventy five samples were inspectedin thisstudy as well as fiftytestforhealthy people chosen as control, theiragesextentedbetween4 to 30years old .The study demonstrated increase significant at (P<0.05)in white blood cells(WBCs),Eosinophile and Lymphocyte. But, they showed significant decrease at (P<0.05) in Basophile , Monocyte and Neutrophilecompare withcontrolgroups,also,showed a significant influence at (P<0.05) in GPT , GOT, Bilirubin and Ferritin. But,significant decreaseat (P<0.05) inUrea,serum total protein and Creatiine comparedwithcontrolgroups.
