Sedative Effectiveness Test from Lamtoro (Leucaena leucocephala) (LAM) de Wit Leaf Extract has been carried out
on male mice. Extracts are obtained by maceration and remaseration. The number of groups that conducted the
study were 5 groups, Group I was given phenobarbital orally as a positive control / comparison, Group II was given
Na. CMC 0.1% orally as a negative control, Group III was given lamtoro leaf extract (Leucaena leucocephala (Lam.)
De Wit) at a dose of 5.84 mg / grBB orally as dose 1, Group IV was given leaf extract lamtoro (Leucaena leucocephala
(Lam.) De Wit at a dose of 11.68 mg / grBB orally as dose 2, Group V is given a leaf extract of lamtoro (Leucaena
leucocephala (Lam.) De Wit) at a dose of 17.52 mg / grBB orally as a dose 3 Note and observe the number of people
who fell after 30 minutes above the rotarod.The results obtained after analyzing using the SPSS 16.0 program, namely
leaf extract of lamtoro at dose 3 showed a good effect of positive results.
