Pyoderma Gangrenosum( PG ), is a kind of inflammatory, noninfectious and chronic dermatosis disease without
certain etiology that causes lesion.PG is a rare disorder that occurs in approximately 3 to 10 people per a million every
year. People may be affected by this disease in any age, but also it mostly emerges in adults with the range of 40 to 60
years old and its prevalence in women is higher. In this paper we are going to report a recurrent Pyoderma
Gangrenosum in genital area and discussing its treatment and pharmacological interventions. The patient was a
22year girl that had the complain of a purulent boil in her left labial major 4 years ago. The lesion has been debrided
two times before. One year after last visit ?the patient came with purulent discharge and burning in that debrided
area.lab data were as follows:ESR 28 MM/HR ?CRP13/4 mg/l ?HBC Ab Reactive ?Urine culture :No bactria growth.the
relevant pharmacological interventions were exerted. Despite the unknown etiology of PG, immune system plays a
significant role in its occurrence and almost 50 percent of patients with PG have relative systemic disease also the
surgical treatment for pyoderma Gangrenosum, in order to remove the lesion will increase the possibility of
mechanical stimulation of the lesion and its recurrence. Proper and in time pharmacological interventions are the first
choice to treat this disease.
