Modern methods of orthodontic treatment of dentoalveolar anomalies with fixed appliances often lead to oral
mucosa traumatic lesions causing discomfort, pain, inflammation. The aim of the work was to study the prevalence,
structure, causes of traumatic lesions, as well as the development and assessment of efficiency of clinical application of
phytofilm for their treatment. An optimal composition of the dental film composed of dry extracts of marigoldand
yarrow and propolis tincture for the treatment of traumatic lesions in orthodontic patients was developed and
pathogenetically justified.While managing traumatic lesions of the oral mucosa during orthodontic treatment, evidence
has been obtained that the use of new dental film of the original composition made it possible to obtain positive
clinical results: reduction of treatment duration, rapid and effective relief of traumatic lesion pain, restoration of initial
structural and functional parameters of oral mucosa and its physiological sensitivity
