THE USE OF PROBIOTICS FOR IMPROVING THE BIOLOGICAL POTENTIAL OF BROILER CHICKENS

Author: LYUDMILA SKVORTSOVA, ANDREY GEORGIEVICH KOSHCHAEV, VYACHESLAV IVANOVICH SHCHERBATOV, YURY ANDREEVICH LYSENKO, VLADIMIR IVANOVICH FISININ, IRINA PAVLOVNA SALEEVA, SVETLANA FAILEVNA SUKHANOVA
Abstract: The article shows the results of using probiotic feed additives Biostim and Bacell for growing broiler chickens. It has been found that adding the Biostim additive to drinking water and feeding Bacell with the complete feed increase the efficiency of growing broiler chickens. As a result of the improved digestive processes, feed digestibility had improved, which had a positive effect on the live weight (exceeded the reference group by 6.7 – 11.2 % (P < 0.001)) and livestock preservation rate (increased by 6 – 10 %). The cost of feed per unit of product in the experimental groups decreased by 6.8 % – 10.6 %. With that, the best results were obtained when using Biostim in the dosage of 1 ml/10 heads, and Bacell additive – in the dosage of 2 g per 1 kg of complete feed during the entire period of chicken growing.
