A number of chick (80) Rose308 at one day old were received and placed in a convenient place. The chicks were
divided into 4 equal separate groups (n=20).G1: control treated with distilled water.G2: vaccinated with B1 strain at
12 days old and revaccinated with the same strain at 21 day old.G3: Vaccinated with clone 30 at 12 day old and
revaccinated with the same strain at 21 old.G4:Vaccinated with Lasota strain at 12 days old and revaccinated with the
same strain a 21-day old.All groups showed high protective level in both antibody titer and challenge test with virulent
local strain of Newcastle disease virus. G3 showed server respiratory signs and lesion at 48 h.postvaccinalperiod and
continued for 5 days, anti-biotic was used to stop these signs. G4 showed mild respiratory signs and lesion
whichcontinued for 48 h then subside. Other groups (G1 and G2) no clinical signs. The study recommended to apply
B1 strain at early age while clone 30 andlasotastrains should not be used before 20 daysold through the application of
aerosol vaccinations.
