Optical Non-Invasive Methods for Glucose Determination in Human Blood

Abstract: The development of a fast and reliable non-invasive glucometer is an urgent and important task, the solution of which contributes to the timely prevention and treatment of diabetes. So far, there is no device brought to serial production that would meet the requirements for non-invasive glucometers, but in the process of development there are many similar devices based on different principles. Below we will analyze the methods and devices that determine the concentration of glucose in the blood without blood sampling, paying special attention to optical devices and methods that are considered to be the most promising.
