This proposed antenna narrates the design and its characteristics with respect to the ultra-wideband and medical
application. This modeled antenna is designed of CPW feeding with defective ground in its structure along the length
of the geometry. The proposed antenna reaches a measured -10dB of good wider impedance bandwidth of 8.6 GHz
from 2.8 to 11.4 GHz covering the wireless personal area network (WPAN) standard of 3.1 to 10.6 GHz. The
bandwidth of the antenna is performed through simulation and measurement characteristics over the operating
frequency range in this work. The proposed design exhibits reflection coefficient, Gain, bidirectional and Omnidirectional
radiation patterns in E and H-plane. The antenna simulation is carried out by using ANSYS HFSS.
