Abstract:

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between organizational self-esteem, job satisfaction and
organizational commitment among nurses working in hospitals affiliated to Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences.
The sample consisted of 273 nurses working in hospitals affiliated to Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences in
2013. They were selected using randomized multistage sampling method. This is a cross-sectional correlation study,
demographic questionnaire, Smith Organizational Self-Esteem Questionnaire, Cooper Smith Job Description
Questionnaire for job satisfaction survey and Allen & Meyer organizational commitment questionnaire were used. All of
this The tools were fitted and reliable. Data analysis was performed using SEM model and SEMS software version 20 and
software AMOS 18. The findings indicate that organizational self-esteem has a direct and linear effect on organizational
commitment and job satisfaction. Job Satisfaction had a direct and linear effect on organizational commitment.
