| Abstract:

To evaluate IGF-1,IGFBP-3,GH in children with hypothyroidism and to predict dwarfism hypothyroidism in children.
Total of (25) children with hypothyroidism and (20) healthy children were including in the present study. Serum IGF-1,
IGFBP-3 ,growth hormone were measured. Serum IGFBP-1 significantly decrease in hypothyroidism patients when
compare to control (p?0.05). There were a significant difference in Growth hormone and IGF-1 levels when compared
between hypothyroidism and healthy groups (p?0.05).All parameters of IGF-1 system significantly decrease in
hypothyroidism patients the lack in thyroid hormone levels may effected on the growth processing
