Design and Development of an Automated Assistance Intelligent Programmed Tool for Medical Diagnosis (AAMD)

Abstract: Automated Assistance for Medical Diagnosis (AAMD) is a tool developed to assist poor and low middle class people to diagnose for Autism, Aids, Bipolar disorder & Bladder Cancer Diseases. The tool gets the symptoms of a person through an online questionnaire. The tool also accepts the results of the medical tests as inputs. Based on the symptoms and medical test results, the tool diagnose and advises the person to consult a medical specialist, if needed. The tool was developed by using Python and its layout editor PyQt. This paper describes AAMD tool and its implementation.
